Jose Sacin

Baritone and Artistic Director, known for his expressive voice of "liquid gold and the stage presence of a lion" (DC Theatre Scene), a Peruvian native, Jose Sacin is considered one of the leading South American baritones of our time. He has performed and collaborated with the leading figures of the opera and music world today including: a nationally televised performance for Pope Benedict XVI (located at the bottom of page) alongside Placido Domingo at Nationals Stadium in Washington, DC; with Gregory Buchalter of the Metropolitan Opera; the Chilean soprano Veronica Villaroel; Amerian soprano Alessandra Marc; Enrique Rici and Will Crutchfield. He performed the world premiere of selected passages from the newly discovered version of Verdi's, La Forza del Destino with Philip Gossett at the Caramoor International Festival.
